Community

1,500 households counted as Hazara

Volunteers from the Hazara Cultural Association helped more than 1,500 households complete the 2026 Census with Hazara as ancestry and Hazaragi as language, so the community is counted as it names itself.

    Hazara Culture Day, Dandenong Park

    Thousands gathered in Dandenong Park for Hazara Culture Day, organised by the Hazara Cultural Association: music, food, dress and a stage for the next generation. The films from the day reached more than 100,000 people online.
